Who We Serve
Early and growth-stage startups raising equity capital, preparing to meet angel investors and venture capital firms who back their sector and stage.
The Situation
Most first-time founders spend their preparation time polishing a deck before they've confirmed which investors are even a plausible fit for their stage, sector, and geography. The result is a pitch that looks finished but gets declined for reasons that had nothing to do with the deck itself — wrong stage focus, wrong sector thesis, or a check size that never matched the raise. ROPTS's Readiness Review exists to close that gap before you're in the room: assessing your narrative, traction evidence, and cap table hygiene, then matching you to investors whose stated focus actually overlaps with what you're raising.
Our role ends at introduction. What happens in the meeting, the term sheet, and the eventual close is a direct relationship between your startup and the investor — ROPTS does not sit at that table and does not guarantee an outcome.
What Ready Looks Like
A deck that leads with the problem, market, and traction evidence you actually have — not a template stretched to fit numbers you don't yet have.
A valuation range grounded in comparable stage, sector, and traction — one you can defend in a term sheet negotiation, not one anchored to ambition.
Cap table, incorporation documents, IP assignments, and key contracts organized before an investor asks for them, not after.
