How we collect, use, share, and protect the information you share with us as part of the fundraising advisory and introduction process.

This policy describes how ROPTS Venture Capital ("ROPTS," "we," "us") handles information collected through this website, our Readiness Review, application forms, the advisory Portal, and direct communication with founders, organizations, investors, and partners. ROPTS is a fundraising advisory and venture-connectivity firm — we are not a direct investor or fund manager, and this policy should be read with that role in mind.
When you apply, take the Readiness Review, or otherwise engage with us, we may collect:
We use the information above to conduct the Readiness Review, assess fundraising preparedness, prepare founders and organizations for introductions, and match applicants to relevant investors, CSR partners, grant providers, or government funding programs in our network. We may also use contact information to respond to inquiries and to communicate about the status of an application.
We share organization and funding-profile information with prospective investors, CSR partners, grant providers, or government programs only as part of making a relevant introduction, and only after an organization has progressed through our Advisory Review. We do not sell personal or organizational information, and we do not share it with unrelated third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may also share information with service providers who help us operate the site and Portal, under obligations to protect it, and where required by law.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to support an active or prospective introduction, to maintain accurate records of our advisory work, and to meet legitimate business and legal recordkeeping needs — and no longer than that purpose requires. We apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information in our care, consistent with the sensitivity of the information involved. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you have submitted to us, subject to our legitimate need to retain records related to introductions already made. To make such a request, or to ask any question about how your information is handled, please contact us.
We may update this policy from time to time as our practices or the applicable regulatory environment evolves. The effective date above reflects the last update. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
